Artist's Comments

This was done for the cover of the Cybertronian Transformers Recognition Guide #3. This was my first time ever at attempting to draw a Transformers character, and I was overjoyed at the chance to draw the biggest one of them all. (minus Unicron, of course!)

This image was supposed to have Starscream flying through his two knee cannons in order to show the massive scale that Fortress Maximus has, but I was unable to render him in time to make the deadline, so I had to cut him out. Pity, I think he would've looked really cool in there, with ol' Maximus staring down at him. ^_^

...good gravy that is so awesome! T_T You, sir, have created a wonderful tribute to Transformers. Hope to see more stuff like this on the way (maybe even do a second version showing good 'ol Starscream in there anyways now that the deadline pressure is off ^_^)

Seth showed me this one awhile back and I.. LOST CONTROL OF MY BOWELS

I can't draw chunky block-style robots, so of course this kind of thing mystifies me in a pleasing way. That and the insane deep perspective.
